Homegrown Beauty - Simple Herbal Skincare

There’s something deeply nourishing about creating beauty care straight from the plants that grow around us. It feels grounding, intentional, and reminds us that true radiance begins with simplicity.

Here are three beautiful ways to use herbs and oils for your skin:

1. Herbal Face Steam
  • A handful of fresh rosemary or lavender
  • A few drops of Young Living Lavender or Frankincense essential oil
Place herbs in a bowl, pour over hot water, and tent your face with a towel. Breathe deeply as the steam opens pores and calms your mind.
2. Refreshing Herbal Toner
  • ½ cup cooled chamomile tea
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 drops Young Living Geranium oil
Shake gently in a glass spray bottle and mist your face morning or night.
3. Gentle Garden Scrub
  • 2 tbsp ground oats
  • 1 tsp dried calendula petals
  • 1 tsp honey
  • A drop of Mirah Cleansing Oil (or your favourite nourishing oil)
Massage into damp skin and rinse for a soft, radiant finish.
Skincare doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs to be alive with goodness. When we return to the herbs, flowers, and oils God has given us, beauty becomes less about covering up and more about shining through.

Which of these recipes sounds the most luxurious to you?
